A few principles that influence how I think, collaborate, make decisions, and design.
Empathy-Led, Impact-Driven
01 / 06I design with empathy at the core and impact as the outcome. Every solution begins with listening, observing, and deeply understanding real human needs.
GunaDesign That Serves Business and Users
02 / 06Good design finds the sweet spot where user needs and business goals intersect. I always advocate for solutions that create mutual value.
GunaCrafted Through Collaboration
03 / 06I believe design is a shared language. I work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate constraints into creative, feasible solutions.
GunaDesign at the Strategy Table
04 / 06I believe design should shape vision and strategy, influencing direction early, not just polishing later.
GunaSystems Thinking
05 / 06I approach design as an interconnected system of behaviors, components, and decisions, not a collection of isolated interfaces.
GunaClarity Over Complexity
06 / 06I simplify complexity into clarity, especially in systems where confusion costs time. My approach is to reduce friction, declutter workflows, and guide users with intent.
GunaA quick overview of how I adopted AI into my workflow, and how it improved both delivery speed and quality.
My approach (AI) 5 phases · 2 lanes
Research preparation, interview-guide creation, transcript cleanup, documentation, and organizing observations.
Choose who to speak to, adapt the conversation in real time, identify what is worth investigating, and judge the quality of the evidence.
AI works every phase with me. It absorbs the repetitive execution, so the work is ready to judge earlier. What that returns goes straight back into the board, not back on the clock.
and the time it returns gets spent here
AI gives me back time from execution. I put that time into the parts of design that require judgment.
Explore meaningful alternatives before committing to the first reasonable answer.
Test earlier, learn from failure, and leave room for evidence to change the design.
Not faster output for its own sake: better outcomes, because the work has more room to be challenged, refined, and validated.
past the handoff
AI takes my work past the handoff. I build working tools myself.
Built with AINotes from the leads and managers I've shipped work with at Deloitte, Freeletics and Unilever.
